From Stepping Stones to Finishing Strong: Lessons from the Entrepreneurial Journey (7/21/25)

Throughout this entrepreneurship course, I have explained a profound personal and professional transformation. Each week's readings, videos, and reflective assignments are layered together to form a holistic perspective on what it truly means to live and lead as an entrepreneur with purpose, resilience, and integrity.  Foundations: Purpose, Stepping Stones, and Brick Walls  One of the first major takeaways was the profound behind "Stars & Steppingstones." This guiding principle taught me that lasting progress is forged through consistent daily actions, grounded in clear values and deliberate choices. Every small habit or routine, each a stepping stone, matters, and over time, these become the key to a purposeful life. The brick wall analogy challenged me to view obstacles not as threats, but as necessary hurdles that test and strengthen my resolve. Rather than discouragement, walls are evidence that I am aiming high and willing to persevere.  The reading of Finding My...

Weekly Wisdom—Gratitude, Entrepreneurial Focus, and Recognizing Opportunities (7/19/25)

This week, I reflected on three powerful and thought-provoking topics: “An Attitude of Gratitude,” “Identifying and Exploiting the Right Entrepreneurial Activity…for You,” and “Recognizing and Shaping Opportunities.” Each one explores how our perspective, choices, and actions shape both our personal growth and the opportunities available to us. These messages challenged me to think deeply about how gratitude, self-awareness, and intentional action can transform not just the way we pursue success but also the way we experience life. They reminded me that our mindset determines how we respond to challenges and whether we recognize the blessings right in front of us. An Attitude of Gratitude President Thomas S. Monson’s message is a heartfelt reminder of the life-changing power of gratitude. True happiness doesn’t come from waiting for ideal circumstances; it comes from actively choosing to see blessings in every stage of life. Gratitude shifts our focus away from what’s missing...

Humility, Purpose, and Empowerment: Reflections on Service and Business (07/11/2025)

This week, I spent time reflecting on three profound and challenging topics: "Are We Not All Beggars?", "What's a Business For?", and "Mircolending: Toward a Poverty-Free World." Each one explores the responsibilities we share as individuals, organizations, and societies to address poverty, create value, and uplift those in need. These messages pushed me to examine my own attitudes about service, wealth, and the true purpose of business.  Are We Not All Beggars? Elder Jeffery R. Holland's message is a humbling reminder that no one is truly self-sufficient; we all depend on grace, mercy, and the kindness of others. He poignantly illustrates that Christ's ministry was centered on compassion for the poor and marginalized, and that as His followers, we are called to emulate that love by serving those in need. The phrase "Are we not all beggars?" invites me to recognize my own vulnerabilities and to approach others with empathy rather tha...

Foundations of Success: Responsibility, Freedom, and Financial Wisdom (7/5/2025)

Today, I reflected deeply on three impactful topics: "Formula for Success," "Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness" as used by The Acton School of Business, and "Attitude on Money." Each of these offers profound insights not only into achieving external success but also into cultivating the mindset, values, and habits that lead to lasting fulfillment and meaningful leadership.  Formula for Success Jack Canfield's "Formula for Success highlights that success begins with a fundamental shift in mindset, taking 100% responsibility for our lives. This means acknowledging that while we cannot control every circumstance, we always have control over how we respond. This shift moves us from a place of victimhood to one of empowerment. Success also requires clarity, knowing exactly what we want and setting specific, measurable goals. Fear is inevitable, but the formula teaches that action in the face of fear is the key to progress. Persistence, focus...
